Our Philosophy
Having digital images doesn't matter if they are not the images you want. After all, you've spent countless hours and days preparing for your wedding or event, and once the day is past all that will be left will be your memories and our photographs. Cameras have the ability to record a moment and all its details, but it is up to the photographer to capture that moment in all of it beauty and excitement.
Our goal is to document the occasion in a way that emphasizes its most beautiful qualities. These are mostly the people, but they also include the location and the preparations that you have made to make it beautiful. There are also the wonderful moments that for most of your guests can only be seen as photographs, such as getting ready for the ceremony, that show your family and friends being themselves and enjoying their time together.
Having two photographers, one man and one woman, allows us to be two places at once and to go places (like the dressing rooms) that might otherwise be uncomfortable. During the event, we try to be as inconspicuous as possible and to use our long telephoto lenses rather than our bodies to zoom in and capture the smiles and expressions that are ripe to be timelessly recorded. When we shoot portraits, we try to find out what look you are going for, whether it be a more traditional portrait or more candid or artistic portraits.
